Coach’s Guide to (Team Sites)

Fall 2017

What’s new this year?

As of January 1st, 2017 Northwest Little League website platform is TeamSideLine.  As such, registration, scheduling and online team support is all new!  This document is intended to provide guidance for coaches as you navigate the updated tools and capabilities of the system.

Team Sites and Contact information:

The Team Sites can be very helpful, but do require some limited set up.  You, as coaches, will have all administrative privileges on your site.  Once the teams are formed, the rosters (players and staff) will automatically load into the appropriate team site along with contact information for guardians or parents that registered themselves or the player at the beginning of the season.  So, if you have parents that didn’t submit their phone/email during registration they will not be in the system…and they want to be in the system.  You can fix this by clicking the ‘Add to Roster’ button, add their name, email and phone and indicate their role in addition to the player they should be linked with.  You can do the same process for identifying parents that are volunteering for the season. You can avoid doing this yourself if you identify a Team Site Parent or Team Parent.  You can change their roster profile to indicate that they will have this job and effectively grant them admin privileges.  That way, all of the parent contact additions and book keeping can be handled by them. Please communicate with your team that NWLL will be using these Team sites and it is critical that they use it for communications and scheduling.

Please let your parents know that they must log into the (sign in link is in the upper right corner) to validate their email and that email must exactly match what is listed on the team site.
